HAAH and Zotye USA Introduce Oracle-based Solution for Parts Supply Chain Visibility

Visibility into the supply chain is a challenge for most businesses. Supply chain visibility involves being able to see in real time where inventory is at a particular time, and how well parts in transit can be traced as they move from the manufacturer to resellers to their final destination. Insufficient supply chain management can be a strong drag on profitability and customer relationships. As important as supply chain visibility is, it’s getting more difficult thanks to rising competition, globalization, and increasing complexities in the marketplace that have made it harder for companies to keep tabs on their supplier networks.

HAAH and its parent company Zotye USA recently announced a partnership with software giant Oracle NetSuite to create a cloud-based platform that manages the entire automotive ecosystem for sales, distribution, dealer operations and management systems, CRM, parts, service finance, call centers and warranty systems. With the new solution, the companies aim to provide dealers and service shops with total visibility and a single view into the entire supply chain from production to delivery and inventory management. The new solution will include web and mobile analytic reporting, which will help catch problems and errors quickly, before they spiral into larger problems, and allow dealers and shops to improve the customer experience.

“This unified ‘one platform, one cloud-based solution’ system will provide the automotive industry with unprecedented simplicity, transparency and ease of use for customers, dealers, employees and the distributor,” said HAAH Chairman Duke Hale in a statement. “Nobody has done anything like this before in automotive field as most OEMs have traditional models with legacy systems and disparate data silos that fall short of end-to-end processes across functional business areas. That makes real-time information that enhances the Customer Experience (CX) impossible.”

The new platform offers an event based fully integrated real-time business management system for all operations for dealers and the distributor that will give customers a hassle-free, haggle-free buying and ownership experience, while creating a platform in the cloud to speed operations for both dealers and the distributor, according to HAAH and Zotye.
